Thanks for dropping an early line. My tips would be to get your players to take caddies. The golf experience is certaily more enjoyable when you have a professional caddie navigating your game through the golf courses. Another fun fact would be to read the book, Dream Golf: The Making of Bandon Dunes. It will provide a thorough explanation of the golf courses and how they came to be. And maybe even schedule a Links Lesson for your group ($25 per person). These 45-60 minute lessons allow our golf professionals the opportunity to demonstrate the shots often required in links golf (knock downs, bump and runs, long putts etc.) These things will arm you with the know-how, then you just need to play golf...
My words of wisdom would be to start practicing your chipping with a "not so lofted" club. And when playing (links) golf, especially at Pacific Dunes, don't cuss your bad shots until they stop rolling...you feel foolish when you have a tap in birdie after skulling it close to the pin! It happens all too often out here.

I found "Dream Golf" to be worth reading but about 200 pages too long and boring as hell. If they had a cliff notes version that would be the way to go. If any Whammer participants want to read it post your address and I'll drop it in the mail...
